Fully remote within Finland | Full-time | Fluent Finnish and English required
Your next role should give you room to use your experience: solve complex engineering problems, shape the architecture, and see your work make a difference.
Our client is a data infrastructure and analytics consultancy looking for a Senior Data Engineer who enjoys taking solutions from business need to production. You’ll work directly with customers, take ownership of technical delivery, and build data platforms that support analytics, AI, and everyday business decisions.
Right now, we’re particularly interested in engineers with deep Snowflake + dbt expertise or experience delivering enterprise-scale Databricks solutions.
What makes this opportunity worth exploring?
Ownership from architecture to production. Design the solution, build it, and establish the practices that keep it reliable.
Engineering with a clear purpose. Work closely with customers to understand the problem and connect technical decisions to business value.
A broad technical landscape. Bring your expertise across Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, and cloud platforms, with a technology-agnostic approach to solving problems.
Learning built into the culture. Develop your skills through recurring training, learning sessions, and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
Remote work within Finland. Combine a fully remote setup with a collaborative team and close customer relationships.
What you’ll work on
You’ll design and deliver scalable data platforms, ELT pipelines, and data models for complex customer environments. Depending on the engagement, this could include:
Shaping lakehouse, Medallion, Data Mesh, or other suitable architectures.
Building dimensional models or Data Vault 2.0 solutions.
Implementing cloud infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools.
Establishing CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and data quality practices.
Helping customers turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Recognising opportunities to improve or extend a customer’s solution and helping shape the next engagement.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for both the engineering and the customer outcome.
What you’ll bring
You have at least five years of relevant experience and a track record of delivering data solutions at scale. You can explain your architectural choices, work through complex problems, and take responsibility for delivery.
Your experience includes:
Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft-based data platforms, ideally across more than one.
Deep understanding of modern data architecture patterns and when to apply them.
Designing and building large-scale ELT pipelines.
Strong data modeling skills.
Solid expertise in at least one cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools.
DevOps and DataOps practices, including CI/CD, testing, observability, and data quality.
Experience that adds to your profile
We’d also be interested in experience with data governance, lineage, metadata management, or security; streaming technologies such as Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink; and infrastructure supporting ML or GenAI, including feature stores, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
BI tools and semantic modeling—such as Power BI, Snowflake’s semantic layer, or Omni—are valuable additions too.
What our client offers
€5,400–€6,600 gross per month.
Full-time employment, fully remote within Finland.
An open, collaborative environment with close customer cooperation.
Recurring training, learning sessions, and opportunities to share expertise.
Social events and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
If you enjoy owning complex data engineering work and helping customers’, get real value from it, we’d like to hear from you. Apply and tell us about a data solution you’re proud to have built—and the decisions that made it work.
We know that we’ve got your attention, so state your interest by sending your CV/LinkedIn profile and we will be happy to contact you within 24 hours. During our screening and recruitment process we use only human power, not AI tools.
